Sugarpill - Take Two

After getting and using my Burning Heart palette from Sugarpill I just knew I needed to get more!
Sugarpill currently offers 9 different color pressed shadows.
If you buy the Burning Heart and Sweetheart palettes then you just need to buy Bulletproof individually and you will have the whole set for lowest possible cost.
That is what I did of course!!
I ordered on Friday afternoon and I had this in my hands by Monday morning!!
FAST!!!
Here is my Sweetheart palette and my individual shadow packaged.
Like I said in my previous Sugarpill post, the packaging is AMAZING.
Super quality and adorable!
Bulletproof, which is a dark ,rich matte black

The cases for these palettes are very heavy duty.
They feel pretty heavy in your hand and securely close with a hidden magnet.
Back of the palette
AHHH!! It is sooooo gorgeous!!!!!

I went ahead and swatched for you!

I have nothing but good things to say about each color!
I have used them all over the past week and loved each one.
I especially like Midori but that is because I LOVE me some green!

I did a look with Midori and Bulletproof.
Both went on very easy and blended well
I <3 this green!!!

I also did a look using the entire palette.
Tako - Tear duct and highlight
Midori - Lid
Afterparty - Crease
Dollipop - Brow bone

Palettes are $34 each and individual colors are $12.
That may seem like a lot but you really get quite a bit of eyeshadow
and the quality is unbeatable for a pressed shadow by an "Indie" company.

OK if you have read this far then you might just get lucky!!
I have 2 samples of "Lumi" loose shadow by Sugarpill.
First two people to comment get it!

Scaredy Cat Cosmetics

My gorgeous friend Dawne sent me 10 samples of Scaredy Cat Cosmetics to try out.

I have heard quite a few good things about this company so I was very excited!!
You HAVE to see how unique the pots are!! They are amazing!
Check them out here

I got 10 colors to try. I potted them myself into my own jars.
The colors are very pretty. I am favoring bright bold colors lately so I was unsure if I would like these colors. I have to say that they are GORGEOUS colors. I swatched for you!
Here they are in the pots.
Scaredy Cat sells on Etsy.

This is from one of Scaredy Cat's etsy listings.
Your pigment will come in a custom designed 3 gram sifter, each with its own personality. The sifter inset is removable so the pigment can be sifted into the lid or directly applied to your brush. The sifters are packed full, the resulting weights ranging from 1.5-2 grams.
Cost for individual colors is $5
They also offer sample vials for $1 each. I have heard you get a TON of pigment in these vials. This is a fantastic deal!! No baggies!!! Yay!!

I did a look with these pigments.
This look was pretty neutral for me but I loved it. The depth of the color is just gorgeous!
Lid - Don't Be Koi
Crease- Never More
Above the Crease- Peacock Blood
Don't Be Koi as lower liner

Eige did a great review of Scaredy Cat Cosmetics. Check it out!

I would defiinately buy from Scaredy Cat Cosmetics. I think the pots would look gorgeous on my vanity and the colors are great quality!!

It's here, It's here!!!!!

After months of lusting and then over a week waiting for it to arrive....
Burning Heart palette is finally here!!!!

My package came very well wrapped up in a box. I was SO excited getting this out of my mailbox!!
I got my Burning Heart palette, a sample, a Sugarpill sticker and a little card.
The packaging on these products is just amazing. It is all very professional.
I feel like Sugarpill is in the middle between indie companies that mix at home and major retail store brands.
I like this because you get the quality and expertise of a big company but still get to support a smaller indie company.
Sugarpill's sample packaging is just adorable even though it is still in an
annoying baggie underneath the cuteness .
My palette came all boxed up!!
This palette cost me $39 shipped which is a lot of money for me to spend on 4 colors of makeup.
I felt foolish when I ordered because I could have spent that money on SO many other things.
I realize now that this makeup is SO worth it!!
The palette is huge! It will last me years easily. The colors are so vibrant and blends easily.

I used the whole palette for this look!!
Primer - NYX Eyeshadow Base in white
Poison Plum, Love, Flame point, Butter cupcake from the Burning Heart Palette.
Top Liner - Pur Minerals Gel Liner in Carbon
Lower Liner = Poison Plum, Buttercupcake
Water Line - Klean Color in Violet
Mascara- Loreal Double Extend in Blackest Black
Brows - Klean Color in Dark Brown
Face- Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation in Nude
e.l.f Nude lipstick with Bonne Bell gloss on top.

I plan on ordering all of the pressed shadow's from Sugarpill as soon as I can!!!

Madd Mail!!!

I was lucky enough to snag 2 of the PIF grab bags that were on sale at Madd Style last week!
I got my order today!!
I am in LOVE with the colors I received!!!
Shipping was very fast as usual and the packaging was perfect!
Sifter seals on the pots, everything bagged and secure!
Here is what I got for myself
( one bag was for a friend and some of it was for an upcoming giveaway)

Lip Balm in Flapjack flavor.
I tried this and it has great texture. Glides on smooth and isn't too greasy or waxy.
I am not a huge maple fan though but I planned on giving this to my husband anyway.

Sample of Lip Scrub.
I tried this today and it tasted good =0x
It is a sugar scrub and the crystals are fairly big and do their job at scrubbing.
It did feel a bit harsh to me but maybe I was too rough .
My lips are definitely more smooth!!!

Brad is my new favorite. I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this color!!
It has made me realize that I need more Easter egg pastel colors!!

I swatched for you!!

Lust For A Life is a nifty color!! It looks pretty drab in the pot but you apply it and it becomes something awesome!! A purple/gray/brown/who the hell knows color!!

Dazzle Dust........is something I have never seen. I thought it was just white pigment with some glitz. Well it isn't. It reminds me of flaky snow or something. It has different size particles and is really cool. I will have to experiment with it soon!

I really love all these colors and I look forward to using them!
If you missed my initial review of Madd Style you can check it out here.
Join the fan page to be alerted of sales and share your Madd looks!

Overall I once again am impressed with the quality and shipping time/
I know because I checked, that Mo sold  50 or more grab bags in addition to having a huge Valentine sale.
Her quality did not suffer AT ALL and her turn around remained the same.
That ROCKS!!

Prepare for photo bomb in 5,4,3,2,1!!!!!!!!!

I had to take a ton of pics to try and show the true color of this look.
I used Brad on the tear duct area and below the brow bone.
Space Oddity on the outer edges blended into the crease
 Ol' 55 on the lid
 Mascara is Loreal Double Extend.
Lower liner is Space Oddity and Brad

Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to win this!!!
