HauteLook - Lorac Haul!!

I recently ordered some Lorac when it was on sale at HauteLook
HauteLook is an awesome shopping site that features sale events on name brand items.
The savings can be pretty significant.
Check it out! They have new sales daily. Things tend to go quickly!!

Photobucket

My order from HauteLook took approx. 11 days to arrive.
They estimated my order to arrive between 17-22 days though.
Hautelook does take some time to ship but overall it is worth it.

Photobucket
Everything was packaged great.

Photobucket
I snagged a Box Office Hit full face palette, two eyeliners and one lip gloss

Photobucket

Box Office Hit retailed for around $35
( it appears to have been a limited edition)
but I paid $14.99 on Hautelook.

Photobucket
I am not a huge fan of the fake crocodile case it is in. To me it is just ugly and tacky.

Photobucket
Inside is a different story!! Gorgeous!!
This palette comes with 8 lip colors, 12 eye shadows, 1 blush, 1 bronzer  and 2 eyeliners.

Photobucket
I am LOVING the bottom left color in the corner! It is this amazing! So pretty!!!

Photobucket
I have used this palette quite a few times already.
I have only done VERY neutral looks using the pink, the burgundy and the black.
All of these colors have a ton of sparkle in them!!
So far I really like the bright pink blush.
I can only use it really light though because my skin tone.
Overall I really like this palette. I
t is a bit tame for my taste but it works for quick neutral looks.

Photobucket
Now here is where I get excited!!!!
I grabbed two of these pencils because they were CHEAP ( I paid $2.99 each)!!
These pencils are on sale at Lorac now for only $3
I normally use .99 eyeliner so I was curious to see if a name brand
that normally retails for more would work better.
At this point I think my cheap stuff works just as well BUT the Lorac brown is the
PERFECT shade to match my hair. It looked very light but applied it is a great match.

Photobucket
The black is # 02 and the brown is # 01.
The brown has a reddish tint to it.

Photobucket
This gloss was my 4th color choice because every other color I
wanted was sold out or in someones cart.
I thought it looked like a nice deep red but it isn't.
It is more of a sheer berry color.
This gloss says it is a lip plumping product but I did not notice any difference.

Photobucket
Ok, this applicator makes me sick.
Seriously it does.
It just feels gross when it is full of gloss. Plus it tickles when you apply.

Photobucket
The color is called "Naughty".I paid $2.99 for this
Photobucket
I do not really care for this at all. I think this will go in my sisters bag!

Photobucket
Full face to show you the lip color.

Photobucket
Here is a full face look done with the Lorac palette.
I used the pink blush, the bottom left lip color, the pink eyeshadow, the burgundy eyeshadow
and the brown eyeliner on my brows.

Photobucket
I used Loreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes in Blackest Black on the lashes

Photobucket

Photobucket
I really really like this lip color.
I am not a huge lip product fan but I am branching out.
I have a tendency to wipe my lips or mess with them.
I think I need to invest in some good lip liners

So my overall opinion is I like Lorac.
They seem to have good quality products.
Would I buy them at full price?
Probably not.
Why?
Because I am cheap and there are so many other expensive brands I want to try.

I do think I will stock up on the eyeliner since it is such a match for my brows!!!

Lorac has a sale section that has some really good deals!
Check it out!

Have you tried any Lorac products? Opinions??

Beauty From The Earth Haul!!!

My awesome husband INSISTED I take advantage of the sale BFTE had a couple weeks ago!
I ordered on March 17th and I had my order in my hand less than 7 days later.
That my friends, is amazing because BFTE had a HUGE sale which resulted in
hundreds of orders and they still managed to get orders out
 FAST and EFFICIENTLY!!
I apologize for the photo quality. I uploaded these to my laptop which now has a virus.
The only way I could get the pictures to blog was to save
them to Facebook and then save them to my desktop.
The result is semi blurry pictures.

I spent $70 and got all of this!
45 sample size jars , the full size color of the week
and some Mix & Fix for "foiling" the pigments.
Photobucket
My order came packaged awesome, everything was sealed and wrapped in tissue paper.
I have to say that I am super impressed with this company and
the commitment they have to shipping orders quickly and being efficient.
This was my 3rd BFTE order and every time I have gotten great customer service,
quick shipping and awesome pigments.
I can say that I fully trust BFTE as an indie makeup company.
Photobucket
My awesome husband sat with me and looked through hundreds of colors.
He apparently is partial to greens too <3

Photobucket
I love all these colors but my fave so far is Envy

Photobucket
The stand outs in this bunch for me are Patriot which is a gorgeous navy blue and Sugarplum

I am loving Butt Naked and Melon so far!

Normal price on samples is $2.00 ( I paid $1.40 on sale)
Sample jars contain approx. .5 grams of pigment.
It is plenty for quite a few uses.
The sample size is great because you can build a nice stash without
having to spend too much and you can test a color before committing to a full 5 gram jar.

Full size jars contain approx. 1-3 grams and are $6.50 each.
Shipping is $4.00 flat rate and free for orders over $50
Another great feature is the color of the week which is a full size jar at sample price ( $2.00)

So overall I am overjoyed with this purchase!
I was able to get a ton of new colors to replace all the glittersniffer pigments I got rid of!

I haven't had a ton of time to play with these but I did finally do a look today!

I used Lemon, Melon and Red River.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours.......

I recently took pictures of my makeup area and my whole stash.
A bunch of girls in my makeup group on Facebook were sharing stash pictures
so I thought I would share mine here.

Here is where I get painted up!

I blogged all about where I got the whole setup and how much it all cost.
You can read that post here

My stash has grown quite a bit since January. Here are some updated pics.
I like to keep pretty organized and clean.
I used to keep everything in a Caboodle and everything was always covered in eyeshadow dust.
Ewwwwwwwwwww
I have grown up LOL.

Photobucket
Here is one of my organizers.
This one slides into the open space underneath the vanity top.
I keep most of the unloved stuff in here and it is also home to all my giveaway stuff!
All my useless brushes, face powder, loose glitters and an array of crappy liquid eyeliners.
I cleaned this out before I took the picture and my sister
will be getting a huge makeup bag filled with things I didn't care for.
The whole bottom right compartment and the one next to it are give away stuff!

Photobucket
This is the organizer inside the drawer. This is where all the stuff I use lives.
Top left is mascaras and primers, top right is lip stuff,
the 2 little compartments in the middle are liners and primers,
bottom right is all eye pencils and the bottom left is foundation and blushes.
In the way back of this drawer I keep my pencil sharpeners, empty pots and my receipts.

Photobucket
My brushes. Most of these I never use.
They are all e.l.f, Studio Tools or Coastal Scents brushes.

Photobucket
My Coastal Scents 88 palette, my e.l.f Beauty Encyclopedias and my Lorac set.

Photobucket
The tower of color!!!
I keep all of my loose pigments and smaller palettes in here.
The glass flower bowl on top houses anything new I get until I can swatch it and put it away.

Photobucket
Top Drawer.
All of my red, pinks, blacks and strange colors I do not know where to put.

Photobucket
2nd Drawer
All my yellows, oranges and whites

Photobucket
3rd Drawer
All my purples and magenta

Photobucket
4th Drawer
My greens.........ahhhh my greens. I <3 them

Photobucket
5th Drawer
My blues.
Is it sad that seeing this in pictures makes me think I need more =0x

Photobucket
6th Drawer
Home to my Sugarpill and my Mix and Fix from BFTE

So that is it.
Was it bigger or smaller than you imagined?
Now I would LOVE to see your stashes!!
If you have a blog, post it!!!
I am so nosey and I love peeping at other peoples stashes.

There is one person in particular that I would LOVE LOVE LOVE
to see their stash and how they store everything.
Any guess on who it is???
PHYRRA!!!
That girl has to have a TON of stuff and I for one would love to lust over the pictures of it all!!
