Holiday Shopping Spotight on..... Batts Audio, Video and Lighting

First up in my Holiday Shopping Spotlight is Batts Audio, Video and Lighting. You are probably wondering what this company has to do with beauty/cosmetics. Let me tell you, this company has the BEST selection of Ben Nye! Ben Nye is by FAR the best priced and best quality cosmetic line out there in my opinion. I have bough and reviewed many Ben Nye products and all were purchased from Batts AVL. You can check out all my reviews here.  I have so many Ben Nye products on my Christmas list! Below is just a TINY selection of the products Batts AVL carry. If you are a makeup lover or you are buying a gift for one I can hands down recommend buying them some Ben Nye. I like buying from Batts AVL because they have great pricing, fast shipping and the best customer service!

Ben Nye Final Seal - This is a great product for keeping your makeup looking perfect all day! You can see my review here.

Ben Nye Grand Lumiere Palette - This palette is gorgeous, the colors are buttery and blend like magic. You can see my review here.

Ben Nye Rouge Palette is on my Christmas List!! So is Ben Nye Brush Cleaner.

Ben Nye offers a FULL line of cosmetics. They have everything you can think of from brushes to blushes, eye shadows in pressed, powder, cream, sparkle, matte and more. Concealers, foundations, primers, sealers, lipsticks, glosses and if you are into special effects or stage makeup than Ben Nye is for you. Ben Nye is primarily known for their stage/special effects makeup. More people need to try there mainstream cosmetics. They are MUCH higher quality than any drug store makeup and in most cases higher quality than high end makeup. I prefer my Ben Nye Lipsticks over MAC any day! Ben Nye is also much cheaper than most high end makeup. It is a little more than drug store makeup for most items! I urge you to try them!

Ben Nye Blushes are only $9 each!!  Ben Nye Glitter Glue is also on my Christmas list!!

I love my Ben Nye Lip Colours! You can see my review of Ben Nye Lip Palette here.

Go and browse the selections at Batts AVL . See if anything catches your eye and pick something up for the makeup lover in your life!!!

4th of July Look!

I decided to go all out this 4th of July and get really glittery!!! Also notice the new hair!!! I had like 8 inches cut off. This is the shortest I have had my hair in over 20 years. I LOVE IT!!!
Patriotic nails!! I used a Sally Hansen Red with a Klean Color red glitter on top, a Klean Color blue with OPI glitter on top and a Klean Color white with SallyHansen glitter on top. It came out really pretty but I am going to have a heck of a time removing it because I did quite a few coats of glitter. Yikes. Any tips??

My eyes are Sugarpill. I used Tako, Afterparty and  Velocity . Then I added some loose glitter, first I added white glitter on top of Tako, followed by light blue glitter and then dark blue glitter on top of Velocity. I found some awesome lashes at a little clothing store, they are by Klean Color and are only $1.99!!!
I made my face all crazy using Pixie Epoxy and loose glitter. I really had fun with this look. I am sure some people thought I looked nuts but that is okay. I had fun!!

Independence Day Look

We have a huge lemonade stand and bake sale every
Independence Day so I wanted to do an extra loud and
patriotic look.

Yes, I am 34 year old who wears pigtails, ribbons and
pounds of glitter!!
I used pigments from Antoinette's Revolution Cosmetics for this look.
 Inner to Outer
Powdered Wigs, VonFersen with Dupioni layered on top.
For the liner I mixed Guillotine with some Mix N Fix ( from BFTE)
and then used an angled brush to line my upper lid.
Using the same brush I applied an insane amount of pink
glitter on top of the red liner.

Did you do a patriotic look for the holiday?
Pics? I want to see!!!
