Buyer Beware

I happened to notice the other day that Lela from Glittersniffer has reopened . I have to tell you and everyone else NOT TO BUY FROM HER!!! She is a scam artist who has stolen thousands of dollars from hundreds of customers and she has admitted to using unsafe ingredients in her cosmetics. Her company went under in the Fall/Winter of 2010 and even though she was investigated by the FDA and still has multiple paypal claims against her she continues to randomly pop up and try to reopen her store. I hate seeing people get scammed out of their hard earned money but I hate even more the fact that people can ( and were) be harmed by her products. Below are some links to  posts regarding Glittersniffer if you wish to see the proof and more details for the cluster $%^& that is Glittersniffer.

Ana from Lipstick and Lightsabers has a great in depth post here.
Here is the whole debacle from start to almost finish.
This is an active facebook page of people who have been scammed by Lela.
My short post regarding Glittersniffer

  1. What a scumbag! Thanks for the warning! This makes me kind of afraid to buy from indie makeup companies. :(

    1. I hear ya. I had invested so much time and money into Glittersniffer. I had spent almost $1,000 on pigments from her. I also loved them and met so many awesome ladies through the GS fanpage. It was a rough thing when all of this information came to light. I had a hard time buying indie too. I still hate really endorsing a company because I was burned again when Antoinette's Revolution went under. There are a bunch that are reputable though.
