I decided to do a tutorial for this look that I did last week using Sugarpill
For this look you will need:
Sugarpill Sweetheart palette or Dollipop, Midori, Tako and Afterparty all by Sugarpill.
Primer or foundation for your eyelid
Shadow brush and a fluffy brush for blending.
Prime your eye.
I used Urban Decay Primer Potion all over my lid all the way up to my brow.
You can use a light layer of foundation or concealer instead.
Then I applied a light layer of my potted NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.
Using your shadow brush, apply Tako in your tear duct area
and sweep it just underneath your eyebrow as a highlight
Using the same shadow brush, apply Midori JUST to your eyelid ,stopping right at the crease.
Follow the shape of your lid and fill it in.
Using your fluffy brush, apply Dollipop lightly to your brow bone following the shape of your eyebrow.
This looks weird , I know but I like applying the top color like this before instead of after.
I find it makes for a softer look.
Using your shadow brush, apply Afterparty .
Fill in the space between Midori and Dollipop.
Using the tip of your brush to apply it carefully so you do not
extend the color into Midori or Dollipop.
Ok, here is where things start getting a bit harder!
It is time to blend!
Grab your fluffy blending brush and get some Afterparty on it.
Starting on the line between Afterparty and Dollipop
lightly apply Afterparty in a sweeping motion
back and forth on that line.
You are blending out the harsh line.
Once blended you should have a nice purple color between Afterparty and Dollipop
Using the same blending brush get some Dollipop and go back over your first application of Dollipop.
Apply in a fast sweeping motion going back and forth across your brow bone until blended.
Wipe the excess color off your blending brush.
Using the brush sweep back and forth over the top edge and outer edge of the look until it is blended.
Almost done!!
Clean off your fluffy brush again.
Apply Tako to your tear duct area again lightly sweeping in and upward.
Apply light to your brow bone again.
If you have any harsh lines or unblended areas you
can take your fluffy brush and sweep across them lightly.
You are done! Just add mascara and liner if desired.
As with any look that involves mutiple colors you have to play with it
and tweak it as you go along, adding more color here and there until it looks right.
Don't be afraid to play!!
Here are some pictures with flash
