Sonia Kashuk Small Shadow Brush

I picked up a brush by Sonia Kashuk at Target last week. I have been eyeballing these brushes for months now and finally decided on the small shadow brush.
This brush retails for $4.99 but I had a $1.00 off coupon so I paid $3.99. The Sonia Kashuk website says this about the brush.
The perfect brush for a more controlled eye shadow application.
All natural 100% cruelty free sable hair
I personally found this brush to be too stiff. It doesn't have much give when applying shadow or pigment so I mainly used it for patting on loose pigments. I really did not care for this brush. My $1 e.l.f brushes pat pigment on fine so I will stick with those for now. I plan on returning this brush soon.
I am going to use the $3.99 return for a credit to get this Sonia Kashuk brush instead. Have you tried Sonia Kashuk brushes? If so, what did you think? Which ones are must haves and which should I try next?

Thanks for reading,

  1. This is my main eyeshadow brush. I actually like the stiffness of it but also the shape is perfect for my eyelid. I have a couple of the ELF ones and don't care for them much other than the Studio crease brush!

  2. The only Sonia Kashuk I have is the bent one for cream/gel liner and I love that. Although...ELF makes one of those too and since you like the ELF brushes you may prefer that one.
