Super Duper Tuesday!

One of my friends posted this look  by Sarah from Faces by Sarah last week and I instantly was attracted. The mix of colors is just amazing. Since getting into makeup and learning more about color I have become intrigued at how gorgeous colors can become when you layer  and blend them. Sarah used the Lime Crime China Doll palette for her look. I did not have that palette so I improvised!

Super Duper Day!

I came across this jaw dropping gorgeous look on the Sugarpill facebook page and new I have to dupe it. I actually printed the picture out and hung it above my vanity so I can look it all the time. This is such a perfect look IMO.

Overall I am pretty happy with the outcome of this look. I kept adding more yellow to blend the look out but I just couldn't get that yellow fade like Josi did.

Super Duper Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!

              Today I am duping the LOVELY Duvessa from One of Beauty's Daughters. I instantly fell in love with this look. It is breathtaking. After doing the dupe I realize that the reason this look is so gorgeous is because it is on her LOL. Her skin and hair color, bone structure plus her technique fit this look PERFECTLY. On me.....not so much!!!

             Duvessa used Dawn Eyes Cosmetics , Merry Go Round ,Sparkling Jade and The Chrome Collection, dark green from Sleek Storm palette. Liner is Golden Moss by Gosh. Saint Germain by MAC on the lips. I have NONE of these colors so I improvised.

         I used Blow by Virus Insanity, Tako by Sugarpill, Ol'School by Moi Minerals, Dark Fantasy by Fyrinnae, Kiwi by Pretty Addictions, Midori by Sugarpill and Skimp by Urban Decay as a highlighter. My upper line is Jordana Fabuliner. I forgot mascara. LOL. My lower eyeliner is Sephora Flashy Ultra Green with Dark Fantasy patted over it and NYX eyeliner in black. My blush is Brooke by Moi Minerals and I used Shattered Pearls as a highlight by Pretty Addictions. I also dusted my whole face with elf pressed powder.My lips are a combo of elf Runway Pink and Peaceful Lipsurgence by Tarte.

                I do not think this worked as a dupe but I did like the look. The shape and liner is different for me and it was a refreshing change. What do you think? If you have a look you would like me to dupe please let me know!!

Super Duper Tuesday is BACK!!!!

                 This look from one of my makeup friends, appeared in my facebook feed yesterday and I fell in love. It looked like a pretty straightforward look as far as application but I did have some issues getting my teal to look icy and I could not get a good picture of the finished look.

               AMP used Madd Style's Strange Potion, Peep Show, Mondo, Taransula (instead of Oogie Boogie), Nirvana, Ol '55 and Star Gazer

My finished look.

              I used Kou, Melon and Rasberry by BFTE, Tattooed by Glamour Doll Eyes, Poison Plum by Sugarpill, Ol' 55 and Bi-Winning by Madd Style Cosmetix and Skimp by Urban Decay. My liner is Jordana Fabuliner and my mascara is Stila Major Lash.

             My foundation is Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Nude #4, blush is Pink Tutu by Flirt! and my lips are Vaseline lip balm (lol)

 Not quite there but I thought it was pretty.

I used my Burning Heart palette by Sugarpill.

Liner is Jordana Fabuliner and mascara is Ulta Lash Blow Out.

 Lips are Tarte LipSurgence in Dazzled.

Super Duper Tuesday

I wanted to use my loose pigments from Sugarpill

today so I found this gorgeous look on the

Sugarpill fanpage.

Here is my version.

Lumi on the lid, Tiara into the crease with Bulletproof blended up.

Dollipop on the brow bone to blend it all together.

 I only got 2 pictures of this look because my camera battery died.

Overall I am pleased with the dupe but I am once again

disappointed by the loose pigments by Sugarpill.

They are so translucent and hard to blend.

I watched a few tutorials last night but they obviously

did not help. If you have any tips please let me know!!

My brown is a bit drab. I am not sure if I just think it is drab because

I hate myself in brown makeup.

Today I am duping a girl from

one of my makeup groups on

facebook named Lisa.

She posts so many amazing looks!

Love them!!

I chose this look of hers because I loved the color combo

Here is her look.

 Here is mine.

 After I finished this dupe I read that she used a bright yellow in her look.

I used a bright green/yellow.

 I love how this came out. The colors are just awesome together!

 Inner to outer:

Virus Insanity Eyeshadow Plaid is Rad

Virus Insanity Eyeshadow Morning

Virus Insanity Eyeshadow Intoxicated

I mixed Madd Style Dazzle Dust with each color to give

the look extra sparkle.

I lined the top of my lid with NYX Super Skinny Marker

and the lower lid with Plaid is Rad. I used a bright blue eyeliner by

Klean Color on the waterline then I patted some

Intoxicated on top of that.

Mascara is Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte

Eyebrow is Klean Color pencil in Dark Brown

 Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation in nude.

Ulta blush in Afterglow

Lips are a mixture of Tarte lipgloss, Mac Lipglass in Viva Glam Gaga 2

                                                              and a Jane mineral lip balm.

She recently did this look using

Here is mine

I thought this look would be easy to duplicate but I did have some 

trouble. I did not have any of the colors she used for

highlighting or her crease color she used for blending

so I had to improvise.

Overall I am happy with it!

 Eyes:

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk

Versailles on the lid and Damask on the outer edge.

Both by Antoinette's Revolution Cosmetics.

I used a white and a golden tan color from my Lorac

Box Office Hit palette.

I lined my upper lid with my NYX Super fat marker and

then went over it with

NYX Liquid Crystal Glitter Liner in Crystal Pewter.

I used Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and

Klean Color eyebrow pencil.

 Face:

Maybelinne Dream Mousse Matte Foundation in Nude

I used the hot pink blush from my

                                                            Lorac Box Office Hit palette.

Lips:

Tarte lip gloss

I decided to dupe a Sugarpill look again!

I came across this gorgeous look done by the lovely

Angela Jankovitz

Looking at this photographed I think I used the wrong color.

I think she used Love + and I used Dollipop

I am pretty happy with this dupe!!

Colors used were Tako, Buttercupcake, Flamepoint and Dollipop all by Sugarpill

My liquid liner is a MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am desperate need of some duping inspiration!!
I find that I am duping Sugarpill looks over and over
because the fan photos are so vivid and awesome.
They call to me!!
But I want to branch out and do other type of looks for Super Duper Tuesday.
