Concrete Minerals Haul

I picked up a Heartsy voucher for Concrete Minerals last month.
The voucher cost $9 and was valid for $21 to use at
the etsy shop. I ordered right away.
My order took well over 2 weeks which was long but somewhat
expected due to the high volume of orders they received.

Concrete Minerals has some of the best packaging I have ever seen!
I spent exactly the cost of my voucher.

I ordered the Mermaid Collection and Kismet.
I also received 2 potted samples.
The potted samples are HUGE!
Concrete Minerals standard size is 10 grams and
the samples are 5 grams ( could be 3 grams but I am not sure)

All the information you need on the bottom of the pigment pot!

Swatches in the sunlight
I really liked all the colors. They are were very smooth and opaque.
I really liked Croma. It is a gorgeous lavender with sparkle.
Pricing is cheap if you consider that you are getting a 10 gram jar
of product.
10 gram pots containing 1.5 grams of product -$7
They also have a specials section here.

Here is a look I did using
Croma, Temptress and Black Metal

Overall thoughts?

I like this company. I did have issues with the shipping
both times I placed an order but the quality of the
product makes up for that.
The pigments are great and priced nicely.
I would suggest buying with a friend and splitting pots.
You could really get a nice stash going by doing it that way.
Concrete Minerals launched their new website which looks
AMAZING! Easy to navigate and all their product and model pictures
are fantastic.

Do you like Concrete Minerals?
What are your favorite pigments from them?

Concrete Minerals

I ordered a blogger review pack from Concrete Minerals last month.
I  finally had a chance to try the pigments and
I am impressed so far!
There was a slight issue with the shipping.
Concrete Minerals is located in the city right next to where
I live so it should have only taken a day or two after I got the shipping notice.
After a few days I sent a message to Concrete Minerals which was answered within minutes.
It turns out the post office put my package in Concrete Minerals post office box by mistake.
After figuring out the issue, my package was shipped again and here the next day.
Everything was packaged well and arrived sealed and intact.
Included with my order was this awesome double sided card.
One side has general instructions on how to use the loose pigment.
This is a GREAT thing if you are new to mineral makeup.
The other side has some general mineral makeup facts.

The blogger review pack cost $4.99 plus $1.99 shipping.
You get four 5-gram sample jars filled with 1/4 tsp. of the pigment color of your choice.
I chose Swamped, Harlequin, Napalm and Vegas.
Each pigment comes with a very professional clean label.
These colors are gorgeous!
They look fairly basic in the pot but are really stunning applied.
I am in LOVE with Swamped!! It is a awesome green!!

I liked these colors so much I wore them 2 days in a row!!

Inner to Outer - Vegas > Harlequin > Swamped

Inner to Outer - Vegas > Napalm

I used a bit of Napalm on my lips and topped it with with Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipglass by MAC

Overall I am pleased with my purchase from Concrete Minerals.
Individual pigments are $5.99 each, the listing at Concrete Minerals states you get a
"10-gram container filled with product."
That is quite a bit of pigment compared to most indie mineral makeup companies.
They currently have over 33 different color pigments to choose from.
I already have a few in mind!
There are also a few package deals that offer a discount.
Become a fan on facebook and get 2 full size pigments for $7.99!

Will I buy from Concrete Minerals again?

Yes,
I am very pleased with the quality of the
pigments and I really like the colors they offer.

Have you ordered from Concrete Minerals? Which color is your favorite?
Help me build an order list!!!
