I finally got my hands on some Sleek!
I had seen this palette months ago when a Facebook friend had
purchased one from Ebay. It was on my list of things I planned on buying
and I finally had my chance! The lovely Courtney went to the UK and
she brought back a TON of goodies! I asked her if she could part with an
Acid i-Divine Palette and she said yes!
Yay! I paid $15 including shipping for this awesome palette!
One thing I do not care for is that this palette is made in China,
$10 in Euros but I am not sure.
The case for this palette is really nice.
Ahhhhhh gorgeous!! The applicator that is included with this palette is a
typical sponge which I do not like.
Here is the description of this palette from the Sleek website.
The Acid i-Divine Palette contains a fusion of vibrant colours for the more daring, with bright pinks to luminous greens amongst the 12 highly-pigmented pressed mineral-based eyeshadow shades. This palette combines matte and shimmer formulations with neon and complimentary shades that keep their vibrancy on all skin tones.
The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. Each shade can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look.

The colors are really nice, very pigmented and go on smoothly.
I did not find them to be too chalky either.

Here is a look I did today.
I used both purples and the hot pink.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
The colors are really vivid and blend well.
Since the whole debacle with GS my makeup
stash has been lacking neon's so I like this palette a lot .
That being said, If my friend did not have this for sale
I probably wouldn't have purchased it mainly because I
hate waiting on international purchases.
Plus the fact it is made in China.
Do you own any Sleek?
If so what do you think?
Where did you purchase yours from?
Wow, those are some BRIGHT colors. =]
ReplyDeleteI've been eying this too...can't wait to try it for myself
ReplyDeleteI have two Sleek palettes, Storm and Good girl. I think the quality in both is amazing; Good Girl (all red/orange/pinks) is great "blusher" palette for me.
ReplyDeleteI like Sleek's pout polishes, as well! And I can't wait for lip paints (Sleek's answer for OCC lip tars). I do hate their website, and their customer service though. Their 50% sale last year was so poorly executed.. Ugh!
OMG i been wanting the acid palette for awile.. still kinda haggleing on ordering it..
ReplyDeleteI think I need that palette!
ReplyDeletei want this palette...but the website wont let be buy it since it cant be shipped to the US...any suggestions on how to get ahold of one?
ReplyDeleteI got mine from a friend who visited the UK. I would check Ebay maybe?
