Purple look with Shiro and Madd Style

I was really in the mood to do a deep smokey purple look today!
I had some extra time to kill so I used a BUNCH of different products.
Tarte Recreate face primer
Maybelline Dream Mousse in Nude (4)
Ulta Blush in Afterglow
Lips :
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Bourbon
Loreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes in Blackest Black
top- Pur Minerals Pur Intensity Gel eyeliner in Carbon
lower - Jane Cosmetics in Plummy
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Hot Pink
Inner to outer:
Lolita by Shiro, Magenta by Madd Style, Electric Koolaid by Madd Style
When I started to blend out the top of this look I
realized my blending brush had black in it.
It left a black tint between the pigment and my eyebrow .

I have yet to wear my purple lips out of the house.
Do you think it looks weird??

  1. love the eyes... the lips make me a little nervous... but i also hardly ever veer away from natural lips, because i feel so very very uncomfortable without my own lips on my face :)

  2. I feel weird too! I always feel like adding color to my lips makes me look clownish!!

  3. i think maybe i'd like color more, if i wanted more "voluptuous" or a different shape of lips... but i don't. maybe when lips fade a little bit as we get older... but i'm completely with you. a light hue of purple might be nice, but seeing bold purple on someone in public might... well, it might make me ask questions (in my head), and i might make a confused face... (no offense...) maybe you need someone else's opinion! haha...

  4. I really like it, purple lips and all.

  5. What surprises me is the eyes. I'm new to your blog and those don't look like contacts. That's a wild looking eye when you do that.

  6. THIS IS SO FREAKIN' GORGEOUS! Seriously though, I love the combination of the eye makeup and lips. Sad Keanu looks awesome on you!

  7. Thanks for the feedback and the compliments. The eyes are just an edit I add sometimes using www.picnik.com. It is called "Vampire Eyes"
