MAC Hey, Sailor! Preview Pics, Swatches and GIVEAWAY!!!!

        I got an invite to the MAC Hey, Sailor preview at the mall so I invited my makeup buddy Stephanie to go with me! I was pretty excited especially because it was my first time going to a stand alone MAC store!  This collection officially launches on May 24th but I would keep your eyes peeled because these collections are known to drop online earlier than the official date. We got there and the line was HUGE. Luckily we met up with another friend who was near the front of the line. Yay for cuts!! At the front of the line before you go into the store they had a makeup artist doing demos on customers. My friend Stephanie did not have time to put on any eye makeup so she had hers done. Look how excited she is!! LOL

Once we got inside the store it was MAYHEM. People everywhere. You could not really move or even see any products. I had grand plans of swatching everything for you all. Once inside I realized that was not going to happen. So we stood there like goofs for a couple of minutes and then a makeup savior appeared. The guy in the pic below. He asked us if we wanted to see any of the new stuff and then pushed his way though and grabbed us various items. He was AMAZING!!! We totally loved him. Super sweetheart!  This picture was at the back of the store looking out. It was so hot and crowded. They were passing out yummy looking drinks with blueberries in them but I never got one. Sad Face!! Right after we walked out the guy with a drink tray walked by. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

             Stephanie and the awesome makeup artist who did her makeup. He was also so sweet and helpful. On this trip I found the male makeup artists to be so much more friendly and informative than most of the female artists.

       I had planned to get Red Racer for this giveaway but it sold out by the time we were in the store. WOW! So it looks like that is definitely a popular item in this collection. I am kicking myself for not getting Feelin' Fresh eyeshadow. It was so pretty. Are you planning on getting anything from this collection?
